IGCSE examination information
The IGCSE programme is a two-year course. Exams are normally taken at the end of that period, although early entry is occasionally offered at Regent’s International School. Examinations are held in November and in May. Subjects are examined through a range of assessment methods, including: coursework, oral and listening, practical and written examinations. We enter students for the level most appropriate to their ability and base this decision on their prior attainment and their teachers´ expertise. Results are available in January and August for the preceding examination session. You can find the full IGCSE handbook here.
We are thrilled to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our Regent’s students in this year’s IGCSE exams! An impressive 42.34% of our grades reached the highest A*-A distinction, reflecting the dedication and hard work of our students.
These results highlight not only the excellence of our teaching but also the incredible support from our teachers and parents.
This success demonstrates the excellent teaching and learning our school has to offer. Not only do our IB students consistently gain some of the best results in the world but so do our IGCSE students.
